New Members RehearsalsHAODS rehearse principally on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 8pm to 10pm. As we draw nearer to the show we invariably have 3 or 4 Sunday rehearsals where the show is run from start to finish. Librettos and Scores are provided for each show and the payment of a show fee from each cast member contributes to the cost of these. AuditionsFor each show HAODS hold auditions for both Principal & Chorus parts. These are held at HAODS House following a number of preparatory rehearsals to familiarise members to the show and audition pieces. We all find the audition process a little scary sometimes, but with the pre-rehearsals, the expert guidance given by our Directors and the staunch camaraderie from other members, we all get through it! For extra guidance see our Audition workshop section within our Members Green Room. RefreshmentsTea, Coffee and Soft drinks are all available at HAODS House. HAODS is regrettably no longer licensed to sell alcoholic drinks, but members are welcome to bring their own should they wish to do so. CommitteesMore detail on our committees can be found in the Members Green Room, however as members we each have a designated Committee member to talk to if we have any concerns, plus there are a number of Sub-committees for different aspects. As a new member to HAODS you may well feel somewhat overwhelmed by the energy and enthusiasm on display, however rest assured most of us started that way! We aim to work hard so we can play hard and all seem to thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie created. We sincerely hope you will too. 
The Roles and Characters will be explained by the show Director and the company will practice the songs and selected audition pieces. Completion of an audition slip then allows you to indicate what you want to audition for from Chorus member through to Lead character.
